Product Review: MAC Pigments in Swish & Dark Knight

9 Jan 2013

The night is dark and all we can see is the light from the moon.

This review is long overdue and this is entirely my fault. For this I sincerely apologise.
These are actually some products left over from the ones Abi sent to me (click here). I promise to get over with them as soon as possible.

I have always wanted MAC pigments ever since I knew anything about them so I was very happy to have these included in the package Abi sent over.
I later discovered that I have quite lovely dupes for both of these pigments in MUD and Tara Orekelewa. I will share photos of these on my FB page at a later date.

For now, here are the MAC pigments
Swish is a shimmery, pale pink eyeshadow and Dark Knight is a matte, dark blue  eyeshadow colour which would be perfect for a Smokey eye
I love the pigmentation of both shadows but l
think they would be better in my personal makeup collection as the pigment packaging is bulky in comparison with the compact eyeshadows I have that are dupes of these.

  1. Are you sure those are genuine pigments? The packaging does not look correct...

    1. O yes they are. Still in the old packaging though, I guess that's why you think they might not be original.

  2. never tried the pigments before but they look gorgeous! :)

My Blog: Caught in a Daze.

    1. Very pigmented they are. You should give them a try.
Just to note though, the packaging has changed.
