I have never been one of those people with flawless skin - either on their face or body. From a young age, there has always been something I've had to combat and by the time I was an adult, the one thing left was hyper-pigmentation (yes, even on my body. My family members used to say I had Coke & Fanta body), it didn't help that I have a large dark birthmark on my stomach either.
Fast forward to 2022 and asides uneven skin on my body, I also had dark thighs from where my thighs touched - #teamnothighgap. Add that to the already existing skin challenges I foresaw, and you knew I considered it an almost lost cause.
When I began the skincare journey for my face, I had decided I would try all the natural remedies for uneven skin and dark thighs.

My skin wasn't too bad when I first started using this. I had less acne and was looking more to combat the period acne I always had when my cycle was in full swing. I really wanted to have a permanent / consistent product which I used to wash my face because I was fast running out of the Clinique 3-Step Daily Care Facial Step which had become expensive and was not working as much as I'd wanted.
My Experience with Skin by Zaron Acne Control Glow Face Wash
The first thing I noticed was that it isn't full of suds/later upon application. You need to apply water to activate it and you'll see the suds come through. Of course suds isn't necessarily an indication that a product works so it isn't a big deal for me.
What was a big deal for me was the fact that one pump was all it took to wash my face regardless of the amount of makeup I had on it. Ever heard of double cleansing? This product could do it with a single pump. Let me explain - The double cleansing method propagates that you need to use 2 different cleansers (oil based & water based, but 2 cleansers regardless) to wash your face.
Let's skip the oil-based part and go straight to how I use this product for double cleansing *wink*. I start off with a wet face and rub the cleanser all over my face counting down to 60secs, when the count is over, I wet my face with more water which activates the lather in the product and I start another 60 secs count.
When I'm done rinsing my skin, it feels smooth and satiny smooth and fresh. I love squeaky clean but with this product, I can forego that for how my skin feels right after. There is also a tightness I get on my face especially when I leave my face to air dry. I'm not sure which of the active ingredients is responsible for that but it sure feels good.

It's true. It does what Zaron says it is.
At first glance, I will admit I didn't expect much from it but knowing it is from Zaron, I knew there was a hidden secret I could look forward to unveiling.
My Experience with Skin by Zaron Skin Glow Therapy Ultra Moisturizing Body Lotion
The first thing I noticed was how deeply and richly moisturing this lotion is. I tried a half-pump when I got home on the very first day and instantly wished I was rubbing it on my body already.
I got used to having to use 2, sometimes 3 pumps of product for one part of my body and having to sometimes re-apply only for my skin to dry out during the day OR my skin is greasy after use and feels like I rubbed oil (mostly the former though). But with this product, I got neither.
Knowing how much I love routine and the fact that it frees me up to think about other things in the meantime, you can't imagine how happy I am to know that exactly 5 pumps of the Skin Glow Therapy body lotion moisturise my entire body - ALL DAY LONG. My skin feels subtle, healthy and glowing.
The good part?
I've had uneven skin on my body for the longest time and had used quite a number of expensive creams, but one bottle (I'm still on my first bottle) of the Skin Glow and I'm already over-impressed with how my skin really is glowing *no kidding*. My skin is absolutely gorgeous!
The best part!
As a member of #TeamNoThighGap, which resulted in dark inner thighs, using this lotion for less than a month, my dark inner thighs are visibly getting lighter.
It's pretty obvious that I'm a diehard loyal fan of the Skin Glow Therapy body lotion already right? So I'll contain the rest of my glowing praises and round up this review post, lol.
Both products are super cost-effective - a pump of each does A LOT. They are very affordable and then you add value for money? That is a winner any day, any time.
Would I recommend them? Heck yeah.
