Product Review: Fashion Fair 1980s Fresh Capsule Collection

Hello lovelies,
This year Fashion Fair celebrated 40 years of making women beautiful and released four pink capsule collections. Each collection is beautifully packaged featuring stunning images by photographer Victor Skrebneski. Each package features a woman who represents an era of Fashion Fair history on the cover.

As official Fashion Fair distributor for the West Africa region, Gifty's Daughter gave away one of each era capsule collection ie. 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 on their facebook page. I was asked to choose one of the collections as a complimentary gift and selected the 1980 collection.
Each collection features different shades of pink to evoke different emotions.
the 1980s collection has warm pinks in it referencing Fresh beauty
the packaging is simply divine and even though I am not a huge fan of pink, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it
each collection is made up of a lip teaser, lipstick, nail polish (lacquer) and a blush

The colour is more of a light peachy pink than anything else
when swatched, the lip teaser seems opaque with a really thick consistency. When applied on the lip however, it is seen to be not so opaque and much lighter in consistency than it looks.
i love the rich and classy burgundy packaging
Fresh Pink lipstick

Reminds me a lot of Zaron Tinky WInky and Khuraira Belle. It has that same purple-pink colour to it
I was a little disappointed with the consistency of the lipstick when applied. It came out uneven and blotchy.
i topped it with the lip teaser and got this really nice combo which I think works beautifully well
Like when I reviewed the New Eve combo palette, it is usually weird for me to like pink as it isn't one of my favourite colours. But this package and the products themselves actually had me sold from the start.
After taking out the products, I now use the packaging to store all my pearl accessories, perhaps, I will share a picture of that on Instagram.

I have used the blush, lip teaser and lipstick for a look which you can view here

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like
you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you
could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit,
but instead of that, this is great blog. A fantastic read.

I will certainly be back.
