This post has been a long time coming. I have posted bits and pieces of it on Instagram, on Facebook & on Twitter but have not been able to put together a full post with the different sides to this look.
Well, here it is.
My first look using the Magnolia pigments and Infinity palette I received from dear Funke aka Madam Gifty

Love this lip to pieces. I am looking forward to creating more like it |
Has anyone else tried the Magnolia Infinity palettes?
They look like a knock-off of the MUFE Flash palettes though. But are equally pigmented and super creamy (they don't do well in heat though as they move around when stored in really warm temperature)
What did you think?
Hi Barbara,
ReplyDeleteI gotta say this is one of my least favourite of your looks. The lip and eye makeup I like seperately but together it's a bit jarring. There's also a little fallout from the shadow under the eyes. I do love your work though and the fact that you are daring with your looks. Cheers
I did get the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra foundation I mentioned before and it's the most gorgeous, natural looking foundation I've ever worn. Never going back to Mac Matchmaster.
Yes Faith. Truthfully, this didn't come out as well in pictures as it did through the mirror *covers face*, fallout included.
DeleteGood for you, where did you get it? Perhaps I should give it a try too.
Lol yeah I know the feeling. I still struggle with my under eye concealer when I try to do a Kim K look. Sometimes I just end up looking like a raccoon. I got the Lancome via a friend who just went to the UK. He got it from Selfridges but Debenhams, Boots and House of Fraser sell it too. I also got a bottle of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk but haven't tried it yet.
DeleteI LOVE the vibrancy of these colors! The lips especially are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your eyebrows!!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you use to fill them in ?
