FOTD | Sleek Studio Face Kit Blush + Zaron Lip Stain

16.10.15

Do you ever have those days when you want to do something different, be something different and wear something different? This was one of those days. I had just received the package from Zaron with the matte lippies and was a bit scared of all the shades I got.

So here's a couple of things I paired together to get this look:
  • As much as I love vamp lips, they aren't shades I'd reach for on a normal day, truth be told. But I was drawn to them and really wanted to try them out so I created a unique mix of Brandy & Chilli.
  • The naked under-eye look especially when paired with a winged eye lifts the eye ever so slightly and has been a favourite of mine.
  • Of course, we all know the magic of white liner in the water line right? It makes the eyes look larger and clearer.
  • The +Sleek Studio Face kit I've had for the longest time. Looking at it, I decided to try out the blush as an eyeshadow (I never use the blush as a blush anyway so why not try something new?) and a blush. I love how it emphasised the shading on my face.

I love how even with the incorporation of modern shades into the look like the duochrome and pink, the entire look still has a vintage vibe to it (mainly because it's an overall matte look I believe) which worked perfectly with the pearls I wore.

Have you ever created a look like this? How did it turn out? What do you think of my look?
