A rather unusual time to be talking about weddings but heck, is there a time of the year that is wrong for talking about weddings?

While I'm still far away from the wedding bug, nothing says I can't dream of what I'm going to wear on that dream day and how I will look is there? So here I am, partnering with lover.ly, to bring you my top 3 wedding dresses.

The Fitted Gown

A summer wedding (it's summer all year round in Nigeria I guess. Apart from the rainy season that is) calls for a sexy but playful silhouette which can hide elegant flat shoes....or even a barefeet. Fitted is normally not the way I would go especially on a day when I need to be super comfortable and dance like I never have but this gown is so endearing.

The lace bodice and short lace sleeves are great shadows for a red lipped vixen which is the only thing I would love to pair with this gown. Delicate and bold and I'll get my comfort from this gorgeous pair of flat shoes. No way we won't go round our 100 guests and say hi to them. I'll keep dreaming about the red rose wreath I'll have on my tight, springy natural curls.

The A-line Gown

A delicate lace A-line gown with an equally delicate lace veil makes for a fragile, delicate and romantic gown. I love A-line cuts cos they flatter my pear shaped curves beautifully.

I have a thing for pink and it's depiction of fragility and a rich, matte pink lip will go beautifully with this dress. No chandeliers please. The simple elegance of this dress should not be spoilt with anything outrageous so diamond studs and a 2-tier rose pearl bracelet to accessorise simply and oh so elegantly.

The Ball gown

Fairytale weddings are the stuff little girl's dreams are made of and usually involve lots of frilly lace, floor sweeping length and perhaps diamonds. I've never wanted an all white wedding and black being the stuff my dreams are made of, is the complimentary colour for the white I absolutely have to have.

I've never been to a ball but the gowns of medieval times have always appealed to me. Thrown in this cap sleeve and you've reeled me in. My dream gown, with my dream wedding colours right? So silver and black shoes and the most icy looking diamond clutch. A Natural hair updo for sure will complete the look for my dream bridal outfit.
