Product Review: 'Motives by Loren Ridinger'

19.12.12

I am definitely threading on delicate ground with this review and so I have decided to make it as brief as possible so I don't end up in a coma before the day is out.
Well, that will only happen if I write the wrong things though but trust me, I will be as truthful as humanly possible.

Thankfully, this powder is my exact shade so I can say that I absolutely love it for a silky finished look. I love the way it makes my liquid foundation settle without necessarily mattifying my face. And unlike before when I would have some ashiness on my skin at the end of the day, I don't have that anymore.
Infact, I can comfortably say that with this powder, all I need for a comfortable night out after a hard day's job is 'a blot & a brush'
This lovely pink blush has gold reflects in it which actually show up on my skin more than the pink. So i use it as a base for a matte pink blush and I have been getting more compliments about my 'pink cheeks' than before.
I am not too sure about this eyeshadow or perhaps it is the particular shade. I am however not too impressed with this as it is just ordinary with no exceptions.
It does have a bit of fallout so be careful to tap and not brush across.

Verdict
-The packaging is definitely unique. With the embossed name on the products and the fact that they can be easily depotted and put in empty palettes is a definite plus for makeup artists.
- The Photo finish powder is a definite must-have for its silky smooth finish. I am a little averse to completely matte skin so this is now my favourite. I am looking forward to getting the shades in the range.
- The blush is a good-to-have if you lovely glowy cheeks and for a good night out.
- I am still so-so about the eyeshadow and will pass on another opportunity to get it.
