Hi guys,

im really sorry about the no posts for a while now. it is for various reasons,

1. i need to learn how to take pics and videos of myself that capture the true essence of the look and the colours too.

2. i need to learn how to love bold colours. fortunately for me, my office wont mind so i should start doing a lot of that

3. i need to learn to love doing makeup for myself. iv never really like doing makeup for myself. i only do the whole works on days i feel like or i need to (like in makeup school where we always had to do our makeup) and sundays (to church). most times im fine with my bare face or just light foundation powder, a line of colour (mostly brown) a liner (mostly black or brown) and a lip gloss or nude lipstick. u can imagine how that looks - plain and totally uninspiring.

so, mostly il be doing reviews and overviews for now (Flora D look out for these). iv got quite a couple of Nigerian products. the only one i dont have is BM Pro's. i dont have anything from her and i need to rectify that very soon.

My Recent hauls and FOTD

Hi guys,

So i have been very lazy and just put pics of my recent hauls in an album. i also swatched the lipsticks and gloss (elf lip plumper – im yet to understand exactly what it does. maybe cos my lips are already full it doesnt work for me. maybe).

so the hauls here are my Independence day haul i.e. Lise 88 palette and the elf lip plumper. i also got the elf mattifying blot paper too but there is no pic of it here. the other hauls are my brushes from Crown, MAC 222 brush, Smashbox foundation primer, UDPP, Shimmer brick, Definitive sculpting powder from MAC, some Maybelline and Rimmel lipsticks i just got and some L’oreal and Jordana pencils.

i think that is all for now…..

this is the FOTD i did over the weekend using mainly Orekelewa eye shadows. i moisturised my face with a Neutrogena oil free moisturiser (cant remember the name now), used the Smashbox primer, i then used Black Opal foundation on my face (Beautiful Bronze) and set it with Biscuit (from Sleek) and then an Orekelewa powder.

for my eyes, i used UDPP all over my eyes and then the Orekelewa primer on my lids only. i then used the lightest colour in the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in the inner corner of my eyes and as a highlight on my brow bone. i then took the light blue colour from the Orekelewa Lewii trio, the blue in the Osenken trio. for the inner corner of the crease, i used the green from one of the trios again (i forget the name) and for the outer crease i used Iman Luxury eyeshadow, a purple shade. i lined my eyes with Sleek liqid liner and for my waterline, an Orekelewa blue pencil. i used Orekelewa mascara for my lashes after curling with the Body Shop eyelash curler (an item from my newest haul). i also contoured my face with Definitive sculpting powder and highlighted with the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick.

hope you like it and enjoy the look. not sure if i can wear it to work but my boyfriend says i can, a tomed down version of it though.

FOTD - 7 Oct 2010

Hi guys,

im back today with my FOTD. im so excited cos i just got my second, well first, no second (dont mind me) haul. the first was the Lise 88 palette and the other products i bought on Independence Day.

This haul however was gotten from my friend who has been in the states for over a year now and it comprises Italian badger brushes from Crown Brushes, A-design brushes, UDPP and Smashbox photo finish foundation primer (im so happy about those. im sure most of u will be wonderin how come iv never used UDPP before. i use MaryKay eye primer which is simply wonderful too. i have to do a review on it very soon.UDPP will mostly be used for my clients).

So for my FOTD today, i used the smashbox photofinish foundation primer (im sorry for using them before showing you pics. i will still upload pics of them though), my MaryKay foundation with the A-Design foundation brush, my loose powder with the A-Design powder brush. i did my brows using a (i cant quite remember but i think it was a MUFE pencil and a clear mascara which i also used for my lashes (i love the mascara. i think im going to have to steal it from my friend ). on my lids, i started with UDPP, and then used Yaby shadows with 2 of the Italian Badger eye shadow brushes. for my cheeks, i used a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and for my lips i used a NYX lipgloss.

i will upload the videos and pics of today's look in a subsequent post. i will be right back.

FOTD - 6 Oct 2010

Hi guys,

good morning.

i would first of all like to thank my very first subscriber - Flora D (applause). il make sure i do the review of Nigerian makeup brands and cosmetics for you.

For my FOTD today, i used purple from the NYX Lake Moss palette and the Lise 88 palette for my eyes, Maybelline Bonbon caramel Toffee bean lipstick (which i just got yesterday and im loving) and Black Opal peachtree blush on my cheeks.

i have no gloss on and i have on my MaryKay foundation and powder as a base. i usually apply the foundation with my finger, im not yet sure why exactly but i know there is a reason why i started doing that.

My other passions

Hi guys,

i am so excited and im sure you will be wondering why.

well, im going back to all my other hobbies and incorporating them into my business. these are Knitting, crochet and denim bags.

i will uploading some pics of these very soon (the old ones though) the new ones will be launched with pomp and pageantry u can be sure. i have table cloths, mufflers, and numerous denim bags i sewed while in university. and to think that amidst all these, i also danced in fellowship, was in pen circle (a writers club) and ........ im sure there is something else im forgetting.

never mind. for now, the focus is going to be on makeup, knitting, crochet and denim bags. i know you are simply going to love the new designs and i cant wait to be able to show them to you.

so watch out cos more to come sooner than you think.

FOTD - a silver eye with little red hues

FOTD - a neutral, very subtle eye (My very first video)

Hi guys,

so im back from the Independence break and im bringing you my very first video and its a tutorial of the look i did for the office today (i apologise for the gum). the resolution is poor, il try for a better resolution next time. i actually used the webcam on my laptop and i was sitting on my chair in the office and as u can see, the light was behind me instead of in front of me.

please just bear with me, i promise to try harder.

please, if anyone knows what i can use to get rid of my pimples and acne. iv been under stress recently and look what it has done to my face (sob!)
